From digital marketing consultants, facebook ads, or google search optimization there is a LOT of ways to spend (and hopefully not blow) your $5,000.

As digital marketers we have vast amount of data to show which digital marketing activities produce the highest ROI. So in this post we break down the top 3 ways to spend your digital NS grant.

3 Best Ways To Spend Your $5,000 Digital NS Grant

#1 SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

When searching for a service or product online, users are more likely to choose one of the top five suggestions that the search engine shows them. SEO helps you rank higher in search results and garner more visibility online, making potential customers more likely to click over to your site and convert.  Here at Make Your Mark Today we are able to assist you in all of your search engine optimization needs.

#2 Conversion Rate Optimization

When you have high intent traffic going to your website or landing page (high intent means warm leads). The highest ROI marketing activity you can do is conversion rate optimization. This can be as simple as changing the layout of a well SEO optimized page. But it is super powerful.

Imagine the rate that you get new clients doubles in a month. That is the very realistic power of conversion rate optimization. Which is why it’s one of the most important part of Make your Mark Today’s SEO work.

#3 E-commerce

Ecommerce is an ideal way you can take your brand from a traditional brick and mortar store to an innovative, well loved brand. By offering great products 24 hours a day along with online customer service, blogs and social media, no longer is your business one singular store, with an online presence your business can be the home of your products and the general home of your business.

Allowing you to fully expand your product ranges without having to worry about moving locations or worrying about not being able to expand your business. Here at Make Your Mark Today we are able to assist you in all of your E-commerce needs.

Digital NS Public Announcement:

“A new $2.5 million program is now available to help small businesses across Nova Scotia attract more customers and grow sales in the digital economy.
The Digital Assistance Program for Small Business allows eligible businesses to connect with digital consultants for services such as website development, digital marketing strategies and e-commerce tools, up to a value of $5,000. Digital Nova Scotia will administer the program, which is based on the highly successful Tourism Digital Assistance Program, now in its second year.
“The entrepreneurial spirit is alive and well in this province and this program will help small businesses adapt to a new norm and participate in our economic recovery,” said Labi Kousoulis, Minister of Inclusive Economic Growth. “Going digital can be daunting for small business owners, so having access to this kind of expertise will help support a business’s long-term viability and success.”
Businesses that qualified for the Small Business Impact Grant Part 3 will be automatically eligible for the program. If capacity allows, the program will be expanded to other businesses.
Digital Nova Scotia will host an online platform to manage the submission of expressions-of-interest from those pre-qualified businesses that want to participate. Once a business is approved, Digital Nova Scotia’s needs assessment will help identify a shortlist of digital service providers to address the needs of each participating business.
Qualified digital service providers will have expertise in developing websites, search engine optimization, digital marketing and social media strategy, and building online booking systems and e-commerce tools. Businesses will also have access to an introduction to digital marketing along with live sessions which include webinars, workshops and virtual panel discussions.
Funding for the program will come from the Nova Scotia COVID-19 Response Council.”
